How to Record Screen and Have You a Circle Talking in the Bottom Corner

Have you ever wanted to record what you’re doing on your computer while keeping a small video of yourself on screen too?

This is especially useful when you’re teaching something, answering a client question, walking someone through a process, or creating a quick tutorial. Your screen gets most of the attention, but your face stays visible in a small circle in the corner so the video still feels personal.

If you’re wondering how to record your screen with your face in the corner, you don’t need complicated video software to do it. In this video, I show you two beginner-friendly options using Canva and Loom.

How to record your screen and yourself at the same time

The best method depends on what you’re recording and what you want to do with the video afterward.

Canva works well if you’re presenting slides or teaching from a presentation you’ve already created. You can record your presentation, microphone and camera together, then download the finished video.

Loom is useful when you want to demonstrate something directly on your computer screen. You can record yourself while moving between websites, programs or documents. Loom also gives you the option to share the finished recording with a link instead of downloading it and uploading it somewhere else.
