We are all on a journey. This I recognize. Some journeys are bumpier than others. Some are smooth sailing.
It will not come as a surprise to you that I LOVE all things tech-y. Designing and coding a website is fun for me. It’s easy and there is no better challenge in my world than conquering a new software and making it work for my clients.
What you may not know about me is that I started off in this world as a teacher. An elementary school teacher to be exact. I was Miss MacKinnon long before I became Krista Smith. I loved teaching. I loved my students. To this day, I’m in regular contact with many of them (thank you, Facebook & Instagram!).
Another thing you may not know about me is that I run a program at platform Bedford called Prosperity. It’s a year long training program for entrepreneurs who are looking to take their business to the next level. In my role as a facilitator of Prosperity, I teach, mentor, and coach. I’m a sounding board for ideas. I’m a colleague. I’m a friend. Our membership is exceptional. The participants show up for each session ready and excited about what’s next. Together, we’ve created a space to collaborate, learn, stretch, and grow. I love my work with these wise and wonderful business owners.
I co-run The Web Designer Beauty Support School with my friend Katy Martin. In the past year I’ve also led some exciting workshops for other organizations on taking your brand to the next level.
The common thread I’m realizing about my journey — I TEACH. When I can combine teaching with technology? LOOK OUT, world.
I’m thrilled to be collaborating with my good friend Jac McNeil on an opportunity where I can be fully in my zone of genius.
In October I’ll be co-leading the Action Academy Retreat. I’ll be indulging the teacher in me where I’ll be showing up as a collaborator, thought partner, expert, coach, sounding board, champion, and facilitator. Our retreat participants will receive me at my best.
We’re guiding 18 women entrepreneurs through an intimate retreat experience so they can create their next income stream. We’d absolutely love for you to be one of them.
If you have a hunch that it might be time to create a new signature offer for your ideal clients but haven’t found the dedicated time or support, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. I get it, Gorgeous. Working on your business while you’re working in your business is tough.
What women entrepreneur do you know that wouldn’t la-la-love to spend three days retreating at a beautiful oceanside resort AND leave with a well-developed, true-to-you income stream that you’ll be motivated to introduce when you get back home?
If your intuition is nudging you, please check out the retreat. I’d LOVE to see you there.
