Google Analytics is a free web analytics service by Google that tracks and reports website traffic.
It’s one of the best ways to measure the effectiveness of your marketing efforts and most of the women I work with have no idea how to access their analytics much less interpret them.
You see, once you know where to access your website analytics you’ll be able to:
- measure the overall health of your website and see areas that need to be fixed or optimized
- find out which social media channels are sending you traffic
- discover what content your audience is most interested in
- measure the effectiveness of your traffic flow (if your traffic isn’t interacting with your content like you hoped and strategized, you’ll be able to discover what tweaks need to be made to ensure that the most important information IS landing in front of them)
Today, I’m taking you on a VERY candid tour of my own google analytics. I want to preface this video with the acknowledgement that I have done ZERO thing in the eight-twelve weeks before this video was created to drive traffic to my website. I’m surprised there was any!
